Light of the World,
You entered our darkness and became the great light.
You redeemed our blindness.
You cleared our fog.
You gave us new lenses focused on you and your kingdom.
Thank you Lord for this eternal flame that only grows dim as we
close our eyes and turn away.
Keep our eyes open that we never lose sight of you.
Correct our myopic visions for the kingdom impact that Jesus showed in his walk to the cross.
Correct our hyperopic visions for the holiness that Jesus valued in his relationship with Abba.
May we, as individuals, as the body of Christ, clearly follow Jesus daily, that vision becomes action, and action becomes worship, and worship becomes charity, and
charity becomes our way of life.
In the holy name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen.
