O Lord, Our God,
We come to you as your children
            Seeking your will,
                        Seeking your wisdom,
                                    Seeking your light.
We know that we do not deserve your grace,
            Yet you have shown us love beyond measure in Jesus Christ.
 
Help us to bask in that love,
            To grow ever closer and closer to your all-encompassing glory.
 
Show, Lord, we pray, Show us:
            Where to go…
                        How to get there…
                                    And what to do when we arrive…
 
Especially, Lord, we pray that you will illuminate our pathway
            As we seek to:
Begin new churches and revitalize existing churches,
So that more people will join with us in our walk to you.
 
Develop new leaders and improve existing leaders,
So that your name will be lifted up in more and better ways.
 
Join with our brothers and sisters across the globe
To combat the debilitating diseases of our day that can
and should be prevented.
 
Engage in ministry with the poor, with the broken, and with the oppressed so that all people everywhere will hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
 
For you, O Lord, are the Source of all Life and the Source of all Light,
            And we want to Live and Breathe in you
                        All the days of our life
                                    And forevermore.
 
In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, AMEN.
